My jaw and cheekbones became smaller, and my face became smaller. When I wash my face, use a sheet mask, take selfies with the basic camera, or cup my face with my hands like a flower pose, I can really feel that the size has decreased a lot!! Even in the morning, when swelling is at its peak, there isn’t that much empty space on my face, so it feels like a whole new world. From week 3, I started meeting people little by little, and I heard many compliments like I got prettier, my face got slimmer, I look younger, and so on, so I thought I did well getting the surgery haha. I’m very satisfied, and if someone around me wants to get it done, I plan to recommend this clinic! Up to 2-3 days after surgery, I was very swollen, and after that it gradually went down. Before surgery, I had jaw asymmetry, so the left jaw, where more bone was shaved, had especially uneven swelling. I couldn’t tell if it had gone well and felt anxious, but as time passed, the symmetry started matching, so I felt the surgery had gone well. In the beginning, after cold compresses, I managed swelling with lots of warm compresses, walking a lot, dieting, pumpkin juice, and Danggui Sushang. As time goes on, I’m getting more lax about swelling care, but I think it will go down someday, and I’m still satisfied now! When I wake up in the morning, because of the swelling, my face feels heavy, as if someone filled it with water haha.
