I have a recessed chin and my chin is on the small side, so even though I’m thin, I was always stressed because of my double chin If I lowered my face even a little, I’d get a double chin, and from the side my chin sagged like a turtle neck, so I didn’t really like taking photos either. But I was too scared to get chin advancement surgery or an implant, so I just lived with it. Then I happened to see a review of double-chin liposuction and thought, “This is it,” so I decided to have surgery. I went to about three places for consultations. One place told me to get filler in my chin tip instead of fat grafting, and another said my chin was too recessed so muscle tightening wouldn’t be effective and I should only do liposuction. The hospital I chose recommended liposuction + muscle tightening + chin-tip fat grafting. But even thinking about it now, I think I did the right thing by getting everything done. My chin was so small that if I had only done liposuction, I don’t think the effect would have been dramatic I’m so satisfied now, and although a lot of the fat from the chin-tip fat graft has been absorbed, it’s still better than not having done it at all. As for scars, the liposuction scar is almost nonexistent, so it just looks like a mole, and only the muscle-tightening scar is about 2 cm under my chin, but unless someone looks up from below, I don’t think they’d notice. My boyfriend also said he didn’t know there was a scar until I showed him. Conclusion: I’m so satisfied with the surgery, and I wonder why I didn’t do it sooner
