I’m a bride-to-be and have my wedding shoot in the middle of this year, but the nose I had done a long time ago had drooped so much, and it was a dragon nose, so from the front my nostrils were way too visible. I just felt unsettled about it in so many ways... Of course, they do all kinds of retouching these days, but it’s true that the base has to be there for the photos to come out pretty.... If anyone here is a bride-to-be, don’t go relying only on retouching This is TMI, but I took some casual snaps and was shocked. So even though I kept wondering if this was really the right thing to do, I was also worried about how I’d look at the actual wedding, which is still quite a while away, and I felt like this stress was going to make me sick. I thought that if I’d just done it instead of spending time like this, the line would already have settled, so I had surgery last month.. I had surgery once before with septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and silicone, but it was done quite a long time ago, so the nasal tip had drooped, and I’d also been hit in the nose before, so I think it dropped even more suddenly,,, After getting hit in the nose back then, the columella area dropped and the inside was protruding too, so I had scar tissue shaved down twice through an internal open approach, but it was still protruding. Thinking about it now, my nose really had a lot of problems in many ways Autologous costal cartilage felt a bit too burdensome, so I went around to clinics planning to use donated costal cartilage, and at Finish they said they would use 2 pieces of donated costal cartilage. Usually they use 1 piece, right? So I asked, and they said they use 2 pieces considering even the possibility that it could be absorbed. Honestly, even while looking into donated costal cartilage, thinking that it could be absorbed made me feel kind of unsettled. But when they said they would use two pieces to secure it, I felt a bit more trust, so I decided to have the surgery. I had surgery around this time last month, so it’s almost been a month now, and personally, I really, really like it...,, I like that my nostrils have come down, and the nose doesn’t look tacky or overly upturned, so I think it’s subtly pretty,,, Most of all, I like that it looks refined haha I liked my previous glabella height, so I didn’t touch that, and I mainly had surgery for bulbous nose correction, columella lifting(?), nostril lowering, alar reduction, and the overall nose shape, so keep that in mind if it helps. I’m much less worried now, and if anyone here is a bride-to-be like me, just take care of things ahead of time while you have time I had such a hard time looking into everything this time...,,
