My natural eye shapes and opening strength were originally different, but the clinic where I had my first surgery did it in such a factory-style way that my asymmetrical eyes looked even worse, which was stressful. The purpose of the revision surgery wasn’t even to hope for a nice eye shape, but just to make the pupils look similar on both sides. The director confidently said he would do it well, so I had the surgery. I was so worried that even on the day of surgery I kept bothering them by asking whether I needed epicanthoplasty reconstruction, but now that I’ve had it done, I’m satisfied!
This is a surgery review pursuing reconstruction.
