1. ㄷㅌㅁ Plastic Surgery The director’s nose style is almost copy-paste level, and that was so much my style that I went there for a consultation. They said they would harvest 2 pieces of ear cartilage and put silicone in the nasal bridge. They confidently told me that the design could come out well without necessarily using costal cartilage. The anesthesia is sedation, and they said it takes about 2 hours. Since I have a short nose, they said to lower the nasal bridge and also do non-incisional alar reduction. There was no consultation fee, and they quoted the surgery fee at around 3.0-3.3 million won.
2. ㅇㄴㅅㅌ Plastic Surgery As soon as I got there, I had to take photos and get a CT, so it was hectic ㅠ People going here, take off all your earrings and necklaces before you goㅏ….! Anyway, before seeing the director, I first consulted with the consultant, then had the director consultation, and at the end talked with the consultant again. Here too, I was told to lower the nasal bridge. But they said the nasal tip shape comes out well when using costal cartilage, so they suggested proceeding with costal cartilage. I said I had heard it was possible with ear cartilage too, so I wanted to proceed with ear cartilage as much as possible, but they still said costal cartilage is better at serving as a support strut..! The estimate was 9 million won with autologous costal cartilage, but they said they would match it to 7 million won as an event price. This was the only place among the clinics I consulted at that talked about things like a pain-control injection or painkiller medication. (They said if they harvest costal cartilage, they give a pain-control injection.)
3. ㅎ Plastic Surgery (formerly ㅅㅇ Plastic Surgery) This place ㅠㅜ really has no information, like waaaaaay too little. No, if anyone reading this has info, please share it with me too… please. Anyway, this is the only place where I had 2 consultations ㅠㅜㅜ because the director’s explanation the first time was sooooooo difficult ㅋ ㅋㅋㅋ They do consult using some kind of model, but in the middle of being flustered at first, my brain was too innocent to understand even that. Here too, they said to lower the nasal bridge and use costal cartilage for the nasal tip. So when I asked if ear cartilage wouldn’t work, they likewise said that to serve as a support strut, a firm material is needed, and ear cartilage is not suitable ㅇㅇ… And they suggested doing some kind of support-strut restoration surgery?? Also, when I showed them the nose line I wanted, they said it was definitely possible, and that if I print out photos and bring them on the morning of surgery, we would talk more with those and then go into surgery. And when I said what I was most worried about was side effects, the director said that if side effects do occur, removing it quickly would prevent any major problem. Because I was so worried, they also said my nose is not a highly difficult nose to operate on, so I shouldn’t worry.. For anesthesia, this place said they operate while you’re almost half-conscious..! With that, the estimate came out to 7 million won.
After going to consultations, the revision surgery I had only been thinking about now feels like it’s really approaching, so I feel unsettled and scared, and also confused because I don’t know where to go. My mind feels complicated ㅠㅜ If I visit more places, I’ll post again..!
