People are creatures of forgetfulness, so now that the painful period is passing, I’m gradually forgetting it, so I’m writing this review before I forget even more. I hope it helps someone….!!! •Surgery day Honestly, I wasn’t nervous and felt more excited, but as soon as I entered the operating room and lay down on the operating table, my heart started pounding so hard that the machine sounds got loud too. (When I had another cosmetic surgery before, I also got nervous the moment I lay on the operating table, so my heart raced and the machine was beeping like crazy.) But the anesthesiologist came and told me to breathe slowly and deeply, said it was okay, and helped me relax. As soon as the nurse next to me said that the anesthetic injection was going in now and that my face or body might feel strange, I fell asleep immediately. After that, I heard someone waking me up, and when I opened my eyes, the surgery was already over. I don’t know if the anesthetic didn’t suit me, but I felt so nauseous that while going from the operating room to the recovery room, I kept feeling like I was going to vomit, and the nurse helping me beside me also asked if I was okay because my face had gone so pale. In the middle of feeling like I was going to vomit, I suddenly remembered what the consultant had told me before surgery, so I was breathing deeply and letting out the anesthetic gas, and the nurse praised me, saying I was doing well. **Everyone, after surgery, do not fall asleep again in the recovery room. Breathe and let out the anesthetic gas. (They told me that after some time passes, it’s okay to sleep again.) After some time passes, they give you your phone and tell you to contact your guardian. When your guardian arrives on time, they remove the IV and give you water, but the catch is that you can’t drink it right away….. I wanted water so badly I could die. They told me to gargle and spit it out, and absolutely not to drink it. But I wanted to drink it so badly I could die. I wanted water so much that I could completely understand why Eve fell for the serpent’s temptation and ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, and I was full of inner conflict. I recommend being admitted overnight. Even going from lying back at a 45-degree angle on the bed to just sitting up at 90 degrees hurt so much. It feels like an elephant is stepping on me. It feels like a truck is passing over the upper part of my chest. <- I strongly relate to this. It’s a feeling only people who have had surgery can understand. Why did the way home feel so endlessly far too.. I had forgotten that passing Gangnam Station right after surgery during rush hour is something you need a very, very strong resolve for….. I regretted it. If you don’t stay hospitalized and go home, your guardian keeps saying sorry because the car is jolting, and even though you don’t want to be like that, because it hurts, you end up facing yourself repeating only ridiculous contradictory things like “Ahh,” “I want water, what time is it?”, and “Please go slowly but quickly.” If you usually feel like your stamina isn’t great or your home is a bit far, I really recommend staying overnight… After arriving home, I had no confidence I could lie down and get up from the bed, so I stacked pillows at the right angle and slept on the sofa. My lower back and upper buttocks were pressed down so much that they hurt, and my chest felt tight and painful, so I kept waking up in the middle. It hurt too much to sleep, but maybe because of the medication I kept feeling drowsy, and because of the injection that suppresses secretions, my throat kept getting dry, so I got a little irritated. I started thinking, “What kind of luxury was I trying to enjoy by getting this surgery?” • Day 1 Every time I lay down and got up, I could feel exactly where the doctor had dissected from and to, and where the implants were moving from and to. When I took the medicine, I felt like I could barely live, but when the medication wore off, it hurt… Still, compared with reviews from people who were in extreme pain, it was manageable, so it didn’t feel completely painless, but it didn’t feel extremely painful either. Lying down and getting up was so hard that I felt like it would be better to just sit all day or lie down all day. Actually, it wasn’t hard. It hurt. I had seen posts saying to do a lot of abdominal exercises beforehand, and I deeply agree. I normally exercise a lot and like exercising, so using my abdominal strength to get up made it a bit easier. But that doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt, and because there was dissection inside, I definitely had much less strength than usual. I wanted to urinate, but it was hard to urinate. But as time passed, it gradually got better. Ridiculously, even while I was in pain, my appetite was very good. But digestion wasn’t good. Today too, the stronger feeling was still, “Why did I have this surgery?” • Day 2 As my abdomen gradually started swelling, I could feel the swelling building up more and more. Bowel movements were still impossible in the morning and afternoon, but I remembered that the protein product I usually enjoyed was rich in dietary fiber and helped me go to the bathroom well, so I drank it, and in the evening I successfully had a bowel movement. Yay! Lying down and getting up still hurt, and I could feel everything, so I just wanted the cursed 3 days to pass quickly. With the swelling + suddenly having breasts I didn’t have before, maybe because they felt heavy, breathing was hard, so when I took a deep breath, I could feel every strand of muscle in my chest enough to know which muscles were being used each time I breathed. = It means it hurts^^ My appetite was still good, but the compression bra was so tight that I couldn’t eat as much as I wanted. I just felt upset, thinking, “It hurts, and I can’t even eat the way I want.” If I felt like I had eaten a bit, I felt indigested and bloated, so even if it hurt, I ended up walking. Since I normally move a lot and now the range I could move in was drastically reduced, it definitely felt more frustrating. Still, maybe because I wore compression stockings from the day of surgery, my calves didn’t seem to swell. I thought thigh-high ones would feel suffocating, so I only wore ones that came up to the calves. • Day 3 The swelling in my abdomen became extremely severe, and my belly was bigger than a pregnant woman’s. My husband found it fascinating and said he had never seen a belly like this before. I also saw my belly stick out this much for the first time and learned that it could come out this much. Going to the bathroom became a little easier, but now the taped areas were so itchy that I was going crazy. Today, I think I said “itchy” more than I said “it hurts.” They said I can remove the taping after 4 days, so I spent the day just waiting for tomorrow. But you have to be careful with coughing and sneezing. While walking, I had to sneeze and did it once, and I cried because it hurt….. The day before, I coughed slightly and it hurt, so I said I absolutely didn’t want to sneeze, but can I control that? The moment I sneezed, my tear glands burst. It truly felt like my chest was being torn to shreds. I never want to experience it again. 〰️A lot of people said their throat hurt a lot, but maybe thanks to the anesthesiologist doing a good job, my throat didn’t hurt at all. But because I had been given medication that suppresses secretions, my throat kept getting dry, so just in case, I ran the humidifier strongly and slept with a mask on too. I recommend sleeping with a mask on for about two days. If you eat something rich in dietary fiber from the first day, going to the bathroom is easier. (In my case, the protein product and enzymes I usually take helped a lot.) And if you have a cold or allergies, you need to brace yourself. The moment you cough or sneeze, you can feel your chest muscles being torn to shreds. As for my arms, in the recovery room the nurse told me absolutely not to spread them out or stretch them upward for a week, so I’m staying still obediently. (Thanks to that, I’m getting even more proper princess treatment from my husband at home. Oh yeah) If you have compression stockings, I recommend wearing them. Recliner sofas and chairs are highly recommended. I recommend steadily doing abdominal exercises and back exercises in advance. (Lying down and getting up after surgery. -> You absolutely need abdominal strength. / The weight of breasts you didn’t have before + chest pain makes you keep leaning forward. And because of the lying angle, your neck keeps coming forward too, and since you can’t bend your torso, you’re at risk of developing forward head posture. No, you just become a turtle. -> If you don’t have back strength, you collapse forward. You even develop headaches you didn’t have before.) If you’re curious about anything, ask me anything:) Both public comments and private comments are fine. **I didn’t know posts wouldn’t upload if I used emoticons, so I posted and deleted it several times 좋아요 2 공감이모티콘 Translating 이 후기를 스크랩하시겠습니까? +2 이 후기는 자연미를 추구 하는 수술후기 입니다.
