Hello~! At Y Oral, on November 9, 2023, I had protruding mouth orthognathic surgery, and also cheekbone, square jaw, and chin surgery. It has now been 1 year and 2 months~~! Personally, since elementary school I heard a lot of comments like that my mouth protruded, my lips were thick, and so on, so I had a severe complex After becoming an adult, I saved money like crazy to prepare for the surgery cost! Once I had saved the surgery fee, I wanted to live the rest of my life with a pretty face while I was even one year younger, and as the COVID period was ending, I felt anxious, so I decided to have the surgery during my vacation! *Swelling They said minor swelling could take up to a year, but from around the 8-month mark, I felt like almost all the swelling had gone down. And now I don’t think I have any major concerns about swelling or anything like that. *Sensation As for sensation, maybe because I had protruding mouth surgery, my gums had no sensation at first, but it came back. The chin tip, which is said to recover the latest, has sensation and the muscles move, but a tingling feeling still remains! But this is not enough to bother me, and it’s not something I’m worried about. *Food It has been over a year since I started orthodontic treatment, and except for the day the braces are tightened, you can eat most things. My front teeth are still being adjusted for occlusion, so it’s not precise yet, but I can bite through food! And now there are no restrictions on food! Actually, after 3 months there are no restrictions, but still, because of the braces and psychologically, I couldn’t eat hard foods at first, and I think I’m gradually getting used to it! Since my original facial feeling remains after surgery, I think this may be helpful for those who pursue a natural look. This was my 1-year review!
