I went to GR and BB, and since I only have two places to compare, I’ll just.. write comfortably while comparing them. For anesthesia, GR used general anesthesia, but BB used gas anesthesia. But they said it would be comparable to general anesthesia~ The anesthesiology director is said to be on-site. And for the compression bra, at GR they said some people wear it and some do not, and it seems to differ depending on breast shape and progress. At BB, it seems like you wear either an open-front Bob bra or a Bob bra with hooks fastened in the front. They said the director decides. They also said a wide band? something like that is worn for about a month at most.. but the period differs by person.. For aftercare, GR includes 1 year of basic care and said they add customized programs depending on progress. For BB, I heard they include 2-3 sessions of bruise/swelling care and capsular contracture prevention care, but that seems to be only until around 3 months? maybe.. I don’t remember properly. Still, they said scar care starts from the 3rd month. The AS part was a bit different: BB is free until 1 year, and after 1 year, a certain fee occurs. GR offered 1 free time for life. CCTV exists at both, you can view the full footage, and there was no cost for viewing it! In terms of consultation satisfaction, I felt the overall consultation at GR was much more detailed and customized in its explanation. The directors’ consultation styles were similar at both places.. But if the GR director felt just blunt, the BB director felt indifferent, so there is a bit of a difference. I didn’t go expecting excessive kindness from a doctor, so it didn’t matter much. Anyway, I was planning to ask the consultant anything I was curious about! Oh, and there were some differences in the diagnosis too GR ㅡ Dual plane / Motiva / 275-300 cc / inframammary incision (They said the inframammary fold is short, so to lengthen it, they would need to go in through an inframammary fold incision) BB ㅡ Subfascial / choose among Motiva, Sebbin, Mentor Extra / 340-360 *size to be decided again on the day / transaxillary incision (They said the inframammary fold is not prominent, so going in through the armpit would make me worry less about scars) From what I saw in reviews in this community too, I heard that for a thin body type, dual plane is much better for feel and shape and things like that.. so I was flustered??? when BB recommended subfascial. I thought maybe it’s different from what I know. Somehow this place seemed to feel that touching the pectoralis major itself is not good? They said they actually do many surgeries to suture the pectoralis major again after surgery.. !! >>>>>>>That’s the consultation review up to here, and since I still haven’t decided on any hospital one way or another, I plan to look into more places, visit more consultations, and decide slowly! Neither place pressured me to book, but the consultation fee was BB > 30,000 won and GR > none. If this helps anyone, take it as reference!
