There are hardly any reviews here, so I’m leaving a same-day review I wish I’d gotten it cheaply through an event... but because it was so hard for me to decide even after going around for consultations, this is 100% paid with my own money, including embarrassing before-and-after photos. For busy everyone, I’ll put the conclusion first, and there’s a long rambling review below, so refer to it! I set the hospital information to public, so check the hospital info icon at the top left! -Reason for choosing The doctor’s experience, no marketing, the sense of trust, and the idea that even if it looks a bit obvious, it should still turn out pretty matched my own values + The schedule worked -Surgery performed Incisional double eyelid only, no ptosis correction (X) -Same-day satisfaction: 5/5 Swelling and time may lower it -Same-day swelling: It became like a sad frog line. After half a day, it swelled more and bruising started. Since I was on my period, I was worried about blood bruising during surgery, but right after surgery there were no issues except frog eyes -Incision pain: Honestly not much...? Similar to when I had natural adhesion -People I recommend going for a consultation : People who want improvement, but basically want the doctor to make it pretty and suitable for them on their own -People I don’t recommend the consultation for People who want a lot of communication with the designer, a design created together, and to see tons of before-and-after photos + People expecting very meticulous aftercare from the hospital after surgery, such as lasers that help reduce swelling People who want a thin, unnoticeable double eyelid surgery -Surgery day process and rambling In other reviews, they said not to even drink water 4-6 hours before surgery, but here the sleep anesthesia was really brief, just enough for local anesthesia, so fasting from 2 hours before was fine, which I liked. But because I was worried I might feel nauseous, I showered thoroughly, drank two sips of fruit juice, did scalp and face massage, foam rolling, etc. so my swollen eyes would go down as much as possible, then headed to the hospital! I was supposed to arrive 20 minutes before surgery, but I got there 55 minutes early lol, so I paid in advance, read and signed the forms about side effects and surgical limitations, got my prescription, and bought the medicine first. Because I’m a coffee person, I asked in the recovery room if I could drink coffee, and they said, “You can drink it now~ There’s a coffee machine in the lobby, so you can have some!” But I held back because I thought I might feel unnecessarily nervous and have a hard time in the operating room lol After waiting a bit, they called my name, so I put my bag, shoes, etc. in the locker, washed my face thoroughly, and went straight to take photos I thought I would change clothes after that, but they did it with me wearing my own clothes as-is..? After taking photos, I went straight into the operating room lol Everyone getting surgery here, make sure to wear comfortable pants like sweatpants or leggings. They do cover you with a blanket, but comfortable clothes are best. While I was like, “??”, I got an injection in the butt and was sitting on the operating table, then the doctor came in and asked whether I wanted the line to be visible. So I said I wanted it to look defined, as long as it didn’t become sausage-like, too intense, or sleepy-looking, and we made the line. I liked it more than during the consultation, so I said, “It looks pretty to my eyes ❤️” It seemed like they only roughly marked one side with little dots, then said I’d lie down, so I panicked, wondering if they were going to do the other side by feel lololol But while they were preparing the sleep anesthesia injection and putting in the injection, I kept opening and closing my eyes again, and they did the detailed design. Then as soon as the design was done, a few seconds later I hallucinated lol It felt like I was stuck in my eyes and hallucinated seeing pyramid murals lololol Then I felt a bit nauseous, and it felt like the surgery started. I could smell the sizzling burning smell, and I also felt something like snip? like the skin being cut, but it didn’t hurt, I only felt the sensation. And they really said dozens of times, “Open your eyes. Look at my nose,” while continuing to do something, and I felt them stitching, then the surgery was over lolol I lay down in the recovery room and did some cold compressing, then came out. From roughly washing my face to coming out, it took about an hour..? A little over an hour. After that, I went to a cafe to get coffee, looked around Kyobo Bookstore, then my eyes gradually started feeling swollen, so I came home For me, how should I put it... Maybe because I trusted the doctor so much in the operating room, I felt reassured At the end, an Adele song came on, and I was belting it out “in my heart,” then they said, “Open your eyes. The surgery is over.” lololol It felt disappointing, like a song getting cut off at karaoke.... I can see overlapping double eyelid lines in the front and back, but I’m not paying much attention because it’s due to swelling. Even with my first double eyelid surgery, because of my eye structure, the lines weren’t completely symmetrical. I’m already taking into account that the left and right lines may come out slightly different, like my existing lines, so I’m very satisfied on the same day right now!! The manager took good care of me too, and the doctor was professional, so I had it done comfortably. Oh, they give you an ice pack, sterile cotton swabs, and a precautions sheet, so you don’t really need to buy sterile cotton swabs separately Everyone getting surgery here, keep that in mind!
