I really hated looking sleepy and dazed, so I started looking into revision surgery. Since it was a revision, I booked consultations at several places and went around, but they all said to do it by incision and completely create a new line? But if I go into revision surgery by incision, the cost breaks the bank like it’s nothing So I was really torn But at the place where I had surgery, they said it would get much better with just ptosis correction, and that there was no need to newly set the double-eyelid line. Since I was worried about recovery and scars, they said it was fully possible non-incisionally too, so I immediately booked and had the surgery!! During the consultation, I also liked that they didn’t push anything excessively and spoke honestly lol! Other places just told me what surgery I should get, roughly set the line, and that was it, but here I felt like they looked more carefully, should I say? They listened well to my opinions too, so I trusted them more lol There’s a big before-and-after difference, right? My eye-opening strength improved a lot, and because my eye-opening strength improved, the line settled really naturally like it was originally my own eye lol! I used to rely a lot on forehead strength whenever I opened my eyes, so every time I opened my eyes it was a whole ordeal, but once opening my eyes became easier, I stopped using my forehead and eyebrows, and my eyes subtly looked bigger too, which was nice lol Most of all, I liked that the line was reset to suit me exactly lol If I had done revision surgery by incision, the recovery period would have been long, but since I got it non-incisionally, I returned to daily life quickly too lol I really think I did well choosing non-incisional haha The eyes are the most important part of a person’s first impression, and even though only the eye line changed, it feels like my image changed. For everyone in a similar situation to me, you may be able to solve it with ptosis correction alone without necessarily doing revision surgery by incision or buried sutures, so I definitely recommend going around for consultations first lololol
