<Before surgery><After surgery>First of all, I work at a hospital, so I’m sensitive to industry rumors. My criteria for choosing a hospital was, first, finding one that suited my age group. No matter how good a hospital is, if its mini facelift target group is younger people in their 20s or early 30s, I passed~ I’m more afraid of side effects than of having no effect, so I passed on places with reviews mentioning side effects~ And I also looked at how little bruising or swelling there was during surgery. Less bruising or swelling means the surgeon works quickly and operates with less bleeding. ㅇㅇTing was originally famous for eyes, but its lifting surgeries have become famous over the past few years, and my hospital friends said the doctor is meticulous and almost obsessive? about operating without bleeding. They said he stops patients from trying to do more.. After doing my research, first... my face is precious? lol, and since I didn’t have time, I happened to have my aunt in her late 60s, who wanted a facelift, get surgery there.. Maybe because she was definitely close to 70, the dramatic effect of the facelift was incredible. (This is probably similar to the hospital YouTube videos of the director’s mother and mother-in-law having surgery.) My own mother already had a facelift 10 years ago, so I passed on her.. My dad’s under-eyes were very bulging, and his eyes were about half drooped, so actually we visited again for lower blepharoplasty, but the director said that if he only did lower blepharoplasty under the eyes, because the eyes were too droopy, the upper and lower parts would stick together? Anyway, it would look strange... The best option would be a forehead lift + lower blepharoplasty... but if we had to choose only one of the two, the forehead lift should come first! he said, so I had him get a forehead lift. Although his under-eyes are still bulging because he didn’t get under-eye fat repositioning/lower blepharoplasty, with just the forehead lift, his eyes definitely opened wide, he no longer had that mountain-spirit-like look, and he looked 15 years younger... It’s been about 2 years since surgery, so I tried persuading my dad to do the lower blepharoplasty now too... but he’s already close to his 80s... Still, when things are quiet this summer, I’m thinking of persuading my dad once more and having him get lower blepharoplasty. After that came my cousin’s under-eye fat repositioning, and full facelifts for two of my cousin’s friends in their late 40s and early 50s.. I think even people in their 50s should do a full facelift. The effect is so good. For someone in their late 40s whose face has sagged quite a lot, a full facelift. (Both of my cousin’s friends live abroad and had never had Botox or Ultherapy in their lives, so honestly they looked very aged, but after the facelift, the result was dramatic.) I had under-eye fat repositioning two summers ago. Right after surgery, I didn’t even have a single bandage on, and I had no bruising at all. The next day I did swell up and became like Avatar, but because I had no bruising at all, I went to work wearing a mask from the day after surgery. Actually, I regularly manage my skin with Ultherapy, Shurink, Thermage, Rejuran, LDM, and Sculptra (as my face ages, it’s becoming skull-like), so I thought to myself that my jawline collapse or sagging wasn’t severe, but because of my facial bone structure, I had nasolabial folds. And as I kept losing facial fat, the intervals for Sculptra-type treatments kept getting shorter, and even after doing them, the skull-like look didn’t go away, so I went back again this Lunar New Year. Just as rumored, the director looked at everything one by one in detail during the consultation and explained it, and the staff were also very kind~ During the consultation, he told me clearly that the nasolabial folds would not be smoothed out 100%, and the overall lifting effect would be best for improving the area around the cheekbones next to the eyes, softening the nasolabial folds, improving the skull-like look, and improving the jawline. Since I wanted a little more effect on my nasolabial folds, I chose Pinch Plus, which has a slightly wider incision range above the ear than Pinch. The surgery didn’t take many hours, and on the day of surgery I wore the compression band. Two days later, they removed it, and since I wasn’t very swollen, they said I didn’t need to keep doing it, so they took it off right away lol After surgery, the center of gravity of my midface, which had overall sagged downward, definitely lifted right up, and my front cheeks filled out. Maybe because the lower facial tissue was pulled upward?... It has only been 2 months, so maybe it’s because there is still swelling, but being freed from the skull-like look, basically I think this surgery could be called a youthful-looking surgery. Oh, after surgery, the stitches were removed on days 7 and 10, and I went to work wearing a mask starting on day 6. On day 6, the swelling was like, “You’re a bit swollen?” The bruising was a faint yellow color that could be covered with sunscreen, and only slightly around the eyes. Afterward, my cousin, who followed me after seeing my results, also had surgery, and when we met, she was extremely satisfied. Everyone says we somehow look younger, but it doesn’t look like we had surgery, so it’s the best! Also, a hospital staff member I introduced is apparently getting eye surgery soon too hahaha For people like me who have a lot of concerns about their jawline collapsing, or whose face is becoming skull-like, it may be good to go for an in-person consultation as research.
