I had surgery several years ago at a plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong. Right after surgery, I had an inflammatory reaction to the silicone, but they managed it with antibiotics and did not remove it. It was the doctor’s decision. I don’t know if it was a problem that occurred during the process of treating the inflammatory reaction, but I had issues with asymmetry of the nasal bridge and uneven nostrils. Since it was hard to go through surgery again and it didn’t interfere with daily life, I just lived with it.
That has now caused a problem. I would sometimes have inflammatory reactions, which would quickly get better on their own and then repeat periodically. Recently, the nasal tip became red like I had a pimple. I originally often got pimples on the nasal tip, so I thought that was what it was and left it alone. But it didn’t go away even after about fifteen days, so I squeezed it myself like squeezing a pimple. Pus came out, so I thought it was a pimple. But even after more than a month, that pimple and pus did not disappear, and the inflammatory reaction came for a few days then went away, and then a lot of pus came out. I got scared, started suspecting a nose surgery complication, and began looking into revision surgery.
A few days ago, almost no pus was coming out. I don’t know if squeezing it like a pimple back then was the problem, but that opening now looks larger, and at this point it has definitely become a hole. Something white is protruding from there..... It’s not protruding a lot, just level with the surface of the skin at the nasal tip, but I can feel it when I touch it.. I think it is probably silicone....
I don’t have much time because of work, but I probably shouldn’t wait and have surgery in about two months....... I should get surgery and have it removed right away, shouldn’t I.......
I’m also scared that a contracted nose problem might develop...
I’m really struggling with choosing a clinic........... The clinic I had in mind only has consultations available from February, and surgeries are already fully booked through March, so I think I would only be able to have surgery in May,,,, but that seems too late, so I’m trying to do it quickly somewhere else, but finding a clinic is not easy..........
For nose surgery, revision surgery or removal is more difficult and demanding, and more problems can occur afterward, so I really want to have it done somewhere that is truly skilled....
But a hole has already formed at the nasal tip and something white has come out........ I can’t delay either.......
