I thought I’d organize and write down my thoughts on fillers over the past 1–2 years. I hope this helps many people who are considering fillers.
I joined a site called a community because I wanted to get a lot of information about nose fillers, and I kept reading the posts. And I saw a lot of posts saying one person was like this and another person was like that. In the end, I got frustrated and tried it myself.
For reference, I am someone who has no complaints at all about any other part of my face except my nose. I got filler with absolutely no intention of ever getting rhinoplasty, and I still have no plans to get rhinoplasty.
First of all, starting with the title, I’ll write about my review of ㅌㄹㅍ Hyco first. I won’t write the clinic name. I had the procedure two months ago. Before getting ㅌㄹㅍ Hyco, I saw many posts saying Hyco and Misko are temporary. They’re full of side effects. And so on. But I sometimes saw people online saying they got a big effect from it, so I wondered if I might be one of those few people too and went ahead with it. The result was First of all, it really hurts. For reference, I’m someone who can tolerate pain really well. But it really did hurt. Pain isn’t actually the important thing, but I’m telling you so you can keep it in mind. Anyway, now that two months have passed? Yes, it’s all gone. Just like many people say, it’s all gone. There are people who get results, of course, but I wasn’t one of those lucky ones. Still, I didn’t feel cheated or anything like that at all. Because the doctor who did the procedure told me that in about three months it usually won’t even be visible, so I didn’t feel bad at all. But! If the effect is that slight, the pain that bad, and the duration only three months, I’d want to stop anyone else from doing it. And for people like me who might do it out of curiosity thinking, maybe I’ll get results too, I sincerely do not recommend it.
I’ll write a bit about my thoughts on filler. I have only gotten nose filler, and this is just my opinion about nose filler, so please don’t connect it to fillers in other areas. 1. Spreading Some clinics say it spread, while other clinics say it didn’t spread, but rather it was absorbed and as it sank down from that sharp shape, it only looks like it spread. Personally, I think both are true. But what is clear, and what we need to keep in mind, is spreading is absolutely unavoidable with filler. It will spread no matter what. No. Mat. Ter. So what I’m saying is not to get anything else, but not to get non-dissolving filler or long-lasting filler. You’ll want to remove it later anyway because it will spread for sure. Honestly, just get it injected several times. Several times. That will be much more aesthetically satisfying. I don’t know whether the many needles going in and causing some injury inside the nose could lead to blindness or something like that. From an aesthetic standpoint only, I’m just saying that unless you’re going to have surgery, it’s better to get it injected multiple times.
2. Types of filler I know there are really many types of filler, and I’ve tried a few of them. To be honest, the one I liked best was Restylane SubQ. It spread the least, lasted the longest, and felt like it held its place best. Personally, even though it’s expensive, I think Restylane SubQ is the best. It may differ from person to person, but I felt it was very stable.
3. Clinic Personally, I think every doctor at a clinic has a different style. You need to find the place that suits your style. As for pain, I think the level of pain also differs depending on the anesthesia style of each clinic.
4. Filler and surgery I haven’t had surgery myself, but a lot of people around me have. Actually, if I talk about surgery and filler, I don’t personally know the answer, but all of my friends who had surgery say the same thing in unison: don’t get surgery. Not only people who experienced side effects, but also people who didn’t experience them say not to do it. There is exactly one person though. One friend whose result turned out amazingly well. What I want to say is that nose surgery is a procedure with a much lower level of satisfaction than people expect. I’m talking about your own satisfaction, not whether others think you look prettier. In the end, cosmetic surgery and procedures are surgeries for your own satisfaction. Even if others think you look prettier, if I’m not satisfied, then it’s a failed surgery. Those who have already experienced procedures or cosmetic surgery will know. If your own satisfaction is never fulfilled, or if your standards for self-satisfaction rise even higher than before, you will start taking interest in all kinds of cosmetic surgery and procedures again, and you’ll feel a bit of greed and dissatisfaction when you look in the mirror. In the end, it lowers your quality of life. So the conclusion is, if you really want cosmetic surgery or a procedure, for the nose just get dissolvable filler. As I said earlier, if you feel greedy or think something looks odd, you can just get it injected again. It’s relatively simple. And if it seems to have spread, dissolve it and inject it again. But even if you don’t dissolve it, doctors who are good at the procedure will build it back up sharply and upward again on their own. Surgery is hard to do that with.
These are truly my own extremely subjective thoughts. Please read and move on, and feel free to ask if you’re curious about anything. I do not welcome arguments.
I’m not going to get any more procedures from now on after the one I had two months ago most recently. I tried the procedure for the first time out of curiosity, and I was very satisfied with how my appearance changed so much just from my nose, and with how people around me reacted. I also liked how I looked in the mirror. But once you see somewhat dramatic effects, you start taking too much interest in other areas too, and I felt really bad about spending so much time looking into information about this. And my body naturally sags in some places too, and things like this were especially never originally mine, so there was no way they could be as natural as my own body. So sometimes, looking in the mirror and wondering if this had spread also became a kind of stress. If I thought, maybe I don’t really have anything to present myself with, and am I trying to fill that emptiness with this kind of thing instead..? that made me feel even worse. From now on, I’m just going to focus on my work and fill up my inner side. I think that will give me more self-satisfaction.
That’s all. I hope the other many people in this cafe can all be satisfied with just one attempt. Exactly to the point where no more greed appears and you’re satisfied. Of course, without side effects too!! I personally think that is the best thing.
