Even though I’m on the slim side by weight, I was always stressed because of my chubby-looking faceㅠㅠ Surgery scared me, so after thinking and thinking, I eventually chose the path(?) of contour injections. I’d had square-jaw Botox before, but it didn’t have much effect on people with a lot of facial fatㅜ For contouring, I got Silhouette injections at ㅌㅇ in Apgujeong during an event promotion. They injected me in lots of spots, pop pop pop pop... Before the injections, since it might hurt, they have you hold a frozen compress against your cheeks to give an anesthetic effect. But honestly, the compress didn’t really have much anesthetic effectㅋㅋ It stings a bit? It does hurtㅠㅠ You can feel something going into your face and flowing. Since they inject several areas, you have to endure it for about 5 minutes. But at ㅌㅇ, it was being sold as a 3-session event package. The young female doctor who did the first 2 sessions was really good because she injected mainly into the areas I was concerned about, so I could see a visible effect afterward. But for the last 1 session, a different doctor did it, and she just injected it all into one area (and even that was in the spot she wanted, regardless of my opinion). Since the medication was concentrated in one area, I swelled a lotㅠㅠ But the effect was actually a bit minimal.
In the end, I do recommend contour injections for people worried about cheek fat, but you need to get them from someone who injects well into the areas you’re concerned aboutㅠ The young female doctor who did my first and second sessions at ㅌㅇ was good~~ Ah, but in my case, I think the effect lasted about 4–5 months. They say the duration varies from person to person.,. In the end, I felt burdened by continuing to pay the regular cost rather than the event price, so I did get liposuction, but I’ll post that review againㅋㅋ
