I went to a total of 4 places for consultations. I went while agreeing with everyone who said they don’t recommend splitting it over two days On top of that, the weather was so cold that I really felt like I was going to die... Still, since I don’t just have a bulbous nose and don’t just have a hump nose, but both, I felt it was definitely right to get consultations at several places. It was tiring, but I don’t really regret it! I think a lot of places recommend silicone for a first surgery, but when I firmly said, “I don’t want to use silicone from the start,” most of them recommended costal cartilage. Thinking about the future, they said no implant would be better, so I decided to use autologous costal cartilage and get it done at DI. By my standards, the surgery is fairly big, so I am scared..
