The photo shows the current state of my nose, now about 3 months after my 4th surgery..
This is my first time writing after finding this community and since my very first post is a bad review, I feel a bit.. uneasy .. haha
For my first surgery, I had it done at a fairly famous clinic near Sinsa Station, but maybe because they raised my very small, low nose too aggressively, I didn't have contracture or any particular side effects, but anyone could see it was an upturned nose. So I decided to get revision surgery.
For my second surgery, I had revision surgery at a famous clinic near Apgujeong Station. They said it had been raised too aggressively compared with my original nose, so the purpose was to lower the nasal bridge and slightly extend the nose length? But even before the swelling went down, my nose was crooked, and the clinic said it was swelling, but the more the swelling went down, the more crooked it became. And the nasal tip was too pointy .. So I ended up having revision surgery again..
And then the third surgery. I thought it would be the last one, so I researched a lot before going. I was also somewhat aware that my nose skin was thin and tight, so there was a limit to how much it could be raised. But it failed again.. I realized that even if the director's surgical skills are excellent, if the director's aesthetic sense doesn't match mine, it won't work.. A nose pulled out long like a bird's beak just doesn't suit me.. Meanwhile, I don't know if the incision area inside my nose hadn't adhered well or what, but it hurt when the stitches were removed.. In the end it opened up, water got into the gap, inflammation developed, and they reopened my nose to wash out the inflammation while also correcting the part where my nose was too long. I wasn't completely happy with it, but I thought I should be satisfied with this much and live with it.. But the surgical incision opened up again and inflammation happened again.. After that repeated twice, the inflammation ultimately wouldn't settle, so they removed all the foreign materials inside my nose. They said if everything was removed, my nose would shrink dramatically, so they only supported the nasal tip with cartilage ; So I waited 2 months looking almost like Voldemort.
Recently, in September, I had my 4th surgery at the same clinic.. The photo is my recent nose shape..
As you can see, after removing the silicone, my nose, which had shrunk because of inflammation, did not fully straighten out. It's not severe, but it has a slightly pinched shape, and it looks like there is slight contracture.. There are no functional problems. Except that I can't even fit my pinky finger fully into my nostril.
But I can't live like thisㅠㅠㅠ I'm really putting my last hope into finding a clinic for my fifth surgeryㅜ
The clinics I'm currently looking into are Snow, Lista, Irumi, Sehyun, Mijak, and Yuno or so.. If possible, I want to use only autologous tissue, not artificial materials. After experiencing inflammation once.. I really want to avoid contractureㅜ Since my skin has become even thinner after multiple surgeries, I'm also willing to get a dermal graftㅜㅜ
If anyone has clinic recommendations or clinics I should avoid, please let me knowㅠㅠ
Ah! Since my face isn't a feminine style, even with a straight-to-slightly-curved line, a line closer to a semi-ski-slope shape suits me well. Clinics that make the nose long don't suit meㅜㅜ
