Double Eyelid Surgery, 3-Year Review

The first thing I did as soon as I became a college student was double eyelid surgery. I did a lot of research online, but I remember liking the consultation so much at the first clinic I visited that I paid the deposit on the spot and set the date. It was ㅋㄷ Plastic Surgery in Gangnam, and I had gone in thinking only about double eyelid surgery, but I ended up also getting ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty! They told me that if I only got double eyelid surgery, it would be no different from just drawing one line above my eyes! Since I was getting lateral and lower canthoplasty anyway, I asked if it would be okay to be a little more ambitious and cut a bit more, but they talked me out of it! They said it would become unnecessary surgery and recommended only the procedures I really needed. During the consultation with the doctor, they drew several different line shapes for me and asked whether I preferred something that might look obvious at first but would not loosen and would look naturally pretty after 2-3 years, or something that would look natural and not obvious from the start but might loosen over time. I chose the latter. Now, 3 years later, one side loosens slightly when I gain weight in my face, but since it was my choice, I have no regrets. Still, if more time passes and it loosens more, I think I may consider getting it fixed again! Oh! Mine was an incisional method, and because I had a lot of fat on my upper eyelids, I also had upper eyelid fat removal done at the same time.
