I originally only had double eyelid surgery at another hospital, but the inner corners of my eyes looked too closed off and I had Mongolian folds, so I thought I needed epicanthoplasty. The place I found after looking into hospitals was Icon Plastic Surgery. At the time, I asked them to cut the inner corners of my eyes enough for it to be really noticeable (I wanted a lot of the red part at the inner corners to show. Thinking about it now, I don’t know why I did that..) In the end, the director said okay and did epicanthoplasty + upper epicanthoplasty, opening them up a lot while keeping them as natural as possible... Back then I felt like it hadn’t been done enough, so I wanted them cut more, but looking at it now, even though they opened them a lot, there isn’t that typical epicanthoplasty look, and they did it well so my eyes just look naturally refreshed.... If they had done exactly what I asked for back then, I think I’d seriously be crying now.. Now I regret how I was back then, so I want to get just a very slight epicanthoplasty restoration, and I want to have the surgery here again (Oh, but there is a bit of scarring around the under-eye fat area. My skin does tend to scar easily, but it doesn’t show when I wear makeup, so I’ve been living without really caring about it.)
