Soft cheekbone surgery, day 1

I had soft cheekbone surgery yesterday. I don’t really have prominent side cheekbones, and they said my 45-degree cheekbones were slightly developed, but also said it wasn’t severe. They said my 45-degree cheekbones were a bit developed compared with my small face. I told them that when I turn my face 45 degrees, the bulging facial contour keeps bothering me, and they said they would operate nicely. I got greedy and said I wanted a definite effect. I told the doctor to make it pretty, and that I wasn’t asking them to force something impossible, but I didn’t want to be satisfied with just tidying up the line, and since I was doing it anyway, I wanted a definite effect. So I had the surgery, but now that it’s done, I’m worrying about all sorts of things, like did I ask for too much? What if there is cheek sagging? I really hope the surgery went well. . . .. After surgery, I woke up, went to the recovery room, rested, and came home. When I woke up in the operating room, even though I had received painkillers, it still hurt a bit. Then after a little while, the painkillers took effect and I slept. After sleeping and waking up, it felt a bit better. Since my home is in the provinces, I hurried home, but because of the bandage, my jaw, ears, and various places hurt. It also felt stuffy ... After getting out of the car, I went to a Bonjuk shop, ordered finely blended sweet pumpkin porridge, and went to the mart to buy soy milk and different kinds of soup. At home, I thinned the porridge with soy milk and gently drank it through a large straw. After taking medicine and some time passed, I drank pumpkin juice, got dressed, and went outside. I walked for 40 minutes and came home to sleep, but it hurt so much. At first I tried to endure it, but I felt like I really couldn’t, so I took one Tylenol and tried to sleep, but I couldn’t sleep even two hours. By morning, the pain had subsided a little, but maybe it was because the bandage had loosened and felt less stuffy, and after that there wasn’t any major pain. It’s not that it doesn’t hurt at all so far, but it’s tolerable. For reference, I also iced diligently starting from the day of surgery. I go back to work from next Tuesday, and I want to hide it from my coworkers, so I’m working hard to reduce the swelling. My face is swollen, so my nose is buried. This has been my day-1 review of soft cheekbone reduction surgery.
