Review of visiting clinics for bulbous nose: Dㅇㅇ, Jㅇㅈ, Nㄴ

First of all, I have a small, low bulbous nose, and I want a natural look. I want the front view to clearly be corrected, and I want to get the bridge, tip, and columella surgery, plus functional nose surgery too. My criteria for choosing clinics were whether they have CCTV, whether there is an anesthesiology specialist, whether cooperative care is available, and whether functional nose surgery is covered by insurance. Based on those, I narrowed it down from Dㅇㅇ, Jㅇㅈ, Nㄴ, Rㅂㄹ, Tㅇㄴ, and Bㅇㅂ (some clinics did not meet all conditions, but functional nose surgery insurance coverage was possible at all of them!) and started making appointments. I had to have the surgery in early February, so I couldn't go to clinics with very late appointments And when I mention prices, I won't include the functional nose surgery because insurance covers it! (I think the functional part was mostly in the high 1 millions to 2 million won range!) 1. It definitely does not completely avoid that assembly-line vibe. The manager is pretty and kind, but there was a little bit of push toward leaving a deposit? (It was absolutely not forced, but they said it so naturally, as if almost everyone leaves a deposit on the consultation day, that I ended up putting one down without really thinking; it still is not a surgery commitment.) The director seemed pretty busy, and the explanation was brief. As soon as he looked at my nose, he had already decided everything, and immediately told me things like how many mm of silicone to use, to lower the columella, what materials to use, and so on, so it felt like he had a very set surgical style of his own. One thing that bothered me a bit was that I went in thinking my nose like Haerin's was not a flashy nose, so I wanted something natural, but the director seemed to think it was flashy, so I felt like I needed more consultation. Not only that, the explanation was just short overall, so I was a little disappointed with the consultation. -Summary: It felt a bit assembly-line and the director seemed slightly inattentive, but I left a deposit because he seemed confident about the surgery and has a strong reputation, so I thought he might do well (surgery not confirmed). -Details: For the bridge, 5 mm silicone; for the tip, septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and donated rib cartilage would all be used. They also decided to lower the columella, and to remove fat around the nostrils to correct the bulbous nose. 3.4 million won range. 2. Jㅇㅈ - Hㅅㅁ / CCTV (O), anesthesia (O), cooperative care (X), consultation fee (O) The clinic is big, but there were almost no people, and the proportion of male patients was a bit higher. The manager was extremely, extremely kind and seemed professional. There was no push at all to leave a deposit, but when I said I had to have surgery in early February and they checked, there was only one available surgery date. So they said to put down a deposit for the available date first, and if I ended up not having surgery they would refund it. (Since they said they would refund it, I left a deposit.) The director explained things in more detail than at Dㅇㅇ, and seemed like he would not recommend surgery that was not truly necessary. I asked because I wanted to lower the columella, but he said lowering the columella with donated rib cartilage might not be ideal, so he did not really recommend it; he said if I raised the bridge and tip, the columella would look better than it does now. Anyway, it felt like he was not aiming for a big operation, but rather for a natural, safe result that adds beauty with the minimum necessary changes. But the fact that the director is an ENT specialist bothered me a little. The push for a deposit was the strongest, and she kept saying things like, if you do not put down a deposit now, you will not be able to get this price later, the price will go up. Anyway, her tone and attitude were not the absolute worst, but it just gave the feeling of, 'This is kind of bad..' Honestly, I liked the director consultation the most. He seemed to understand the aesthetic direction I wanted well, said it would be fine to proceed with donated rib cartilage for lowering the columella, said the photo I showed him (not Haerin) was completely doable, and explained everything one by one on a tablet, so he was incredibly kind. That was the first time I asked about everything one by one during a consultation, so it was the most detailed consultation. He kept checking my nose with a cotton swab and showed me how much could come out after surgery too. In addition, the ENT director also explained everything very kindly. But what worried me was that the cosmetic surgery director is a woman and very young, so I am concerned that her experience may be short.
