I went to get my splint removed today. It hurt so much when they removed the splint. I seriously thought they were breaking my nose. When they removed the stitches, it was just a stinging feeling. And removing debris inside the nose hurt too. Maybe because my nose is bruised, even touching it hurts, so it’s still very swollen, but compared with my previous nose, it feels like a different nose. I like it in my own way. And what I realized is that the shape of my nostrils stays the same. I had hoped my triangular nostrils would change.. For the surgery, I had my nasal tip done and fascia on the nasal bridge. Once all the swelling goes down and the final stitches are removed, I’ll post a before-and-after photo review.
