As the title says, I had 6 types of eye surgeries, and because I had short horizontal eye width and small, closed-looking eyes, I had canthoplasty revised twice.
I had an incisional double eyelid surgery with an outfold line, and because I had ptosis, I also had ptosis correction at the same time. Maybe because my skin itself is thick, the double eyelid on my left eye started loosening little by little, so I’m planning to look into reconstruction around next yearㅜ
The clinic where I had my first surgery had a pretty strong word-of-mouth reputation, and after looking at reviews and ads and going around for consultations, I thought it over and finally decided on that clinic. The director had a very blunt personality, and at the time I was also very much a beginner when it came to plastic surgery. Even when I had questions, I ended up asking them timidly, so I regret that a lotㅜ I decided because I looked only at reviews and thought I could turn out like that too. There were no major side effects, but from the beginning, the line at the inner corner part of the double eyelid (left eye) stopped forming partway, so it became an uneven line, which was a bit upsetting..ㅠ The distance between my eyebrows and eyes became much closer (outfold), so my impression looked stronger. The swelling really seemed to last a long time. Maybe because the tissue itself was thickㅠ.. After the swelling went down, the sausage-like line gradually settled, so after about 6–7 months, I think I started looking much more human..! The canthoplasty effect was also minimal, so this year, 3 months ago, I had revision canthoplasty again! I’m still not satisfied with my eyes, but I’m glad I saw even a very small effect compared with the first clinic. My eyes themselves were really small and closed-looking, with upturned outer corners, so I had a severe complex about them..!
Realistically, because I want dramatically bigger, more open-looking eyes, I’ll look into reconstruction again and go through many consultations, so it will be a matter of time, but this was my reviewㅜ
