I had incisional double-eyelid surgery + ptosis correction.
One eye’s double eyelid came slightly undone, so the sausage-like swollen part came down
and ended up covering more of the pupil, making my eyes look uneven. When I asked about it,
they said they would provide aftercare revision, and that it could be done simply with buried sutures...
I’m currently at 4 months, and I did make an aftercare revision appointment for the day I reach 5 months,
but would it be better to go and get it done quickly on the appointment day? Or
would it be better to wait longer and do it around the 10-month mark?
Since it’s an aftercare revision using the buried suture method, it seems like it may be possible before 6 months,
but I’m still a little worried something could go wrong because it probably hasn’t fully healed yet...
1. Get the revision quickly with buried sutures and get away from the stress of asymmetry 2. Since the incision area may not have healed enough and the revision could go badly, endure it and have surgery after 10 months
