Hello I’m posting after getting my splint removed. Thank you so much for encouraging me on my previous post ㅠㅠ It’s now been 3 days since the splint was removed.
In my first surgery, I met a quack, so the silicone shifted to one side, the silicone showed through, my nasal bridge looked crooked, my nostrils were uneven, and my nasal tip was lifted...ㅠㅠ It became too hard to cover with makeup anymore, and it was hard to keep taking photos from only one side of my face, so I had revision surgery...
It’s now been 9 days since surgery..
Maybe medicine has advanced a lot in the meantime lololol I didn’t swell as much as I expected, and so far I’m satisfied with the surgical result.
My face is asymmetrical, and because the botched surgery caused nostril asymmetry, during the consultation the director said they couldn’t make it 100% identical, but would do their best..
I’m a designer, so I have a sensitive eye, but it’s not like anyone is going to measure my nose with a ruler one by one, and I think the asymmetry has been corrected well enough.
Please take a look at my nose. It’s still quite high because of swelling... I’m a bit impatient by nature, so on day 2 after surgery, when the cotton packing was removed, I asked the director, “Isn’t it too high?.. Isn’t it lifted?” They told me it was okay, so I trusted that and kept looking in the mirror every day, and it’s gradually getting lower.. I really think plastic surgery is something that needs time.
While looking into revision rhinoplasty this time, I realized how difficult nose surgery is. For those who really feel they need to do it, please research carefully and decide cautiously..
