Day 4 after 3 types of facial contouring surgery~

Despite being in my forties, I finally made up my mind and got the 3 types of facial contouring surgery that I had wanted. At the time, I thought, if I was going to do this, why couldn't I have decided 10 years earlierㅜㅜ

I'm slightly regretting my late decision. Honestly, with things like surgery, it's better to do them when you're a bit younger rather than when you're older.

Enough of the long intro...

Day of surgery

I was lying on the operating table at 10 a.m. Suddenly, they said, "Patient, open your eyes~" and at the same time as the nurse said that, I was in the hospital room. I literally closed my eyes and opened them, and the surgery was over.

I felt kind of numb and my throat really hurt. I couldn't feel anything elsewhere, but first of all, I couldn't breathe through my nose, so my mouth was dry and my throat hurt. They said they would give me water at 8:30. I just waited for water time. Finally, the moment I tried to swallow water, it absolutely would not go down, and it tickled, so I coughed, and when I coughed my throat hurt. Still, I kept trying to drink a little water, but it was like a dam had been built in my throat and it would not let anything through, so I kept struggling with drinking water... In the end, I couldn't sleep a wink and spent the whole night awake in the hospital room. It was a relief I was alone in the room... otherwise, what a nuisance I would have been... I just kept gargling...

My guardian came to pick me up, and since I had to take medicine, I had to drink water too, and there was thin rice porridge... I was told I had to eat somehow once I got home, because that would help me recover, so I put on the facial band and was discharged.

When I got home, I started eating thin rice porridge from lunch. Actually, the thin rice porridge was easier to swallow than water. Oh noㅜㅜ I almost cried.. I took the medicine one pill at a time. The compression from the band was quite hard and I really didn't want to wear it. I just diligently did cold compresses, gargled countless times, and it was a bit more comfortable than when I was at the hospital. My face looked about the same too.

Day 2

I gargled diligently, ate pumpkin porridge and beef porridge, swallowed water well, and my face looked about the same.

Day 3

I'm not the type to swell or bruise a lot, but from this day, it wasn't that my nose was running, but when I wiped it, there was blood mixed in, and blood also came out mixed from my throat... It wasn't painful or difficult. I'm still eating well. Yogurt, porridge, ice cream. The band still hurts every time I put it on. I take it off when sleeping, eating, and gargling. I started walking for exercise for an hour. I put on a waterproof bandage, washed my hair, and washed my face. The bruising on my neck is the worst, and my lips and around my mouth still feel numb, as if the anesthesia hasn't fully worn off. Because it's hard to close my lips, drool keeps dripping... I feel like I'm drooling a lot. My lips are swollen like someone who got Botox.

Question here? Are other people also experiencing plump, swollen lips and numbness inside the mouth, like the anesthesia hasn't worn off? When do the lips return to my own lips, and when does the numbness inside the mouth get better?

Day 4

It's still the same as day 3. I'm just hoping the plump lips and numbness inside my mouth get better quickly. Today too, I exercised, used a warm compress pack, wore the band, and drooled... I'm using bruise cream and oral medication together...

My voice is slurred... I didn't tell my family, so I said it was a sore throat/cold. When will my voice come back?

Oh right, I really want to applaud those who have had facial contouring surgery. Do we really have to go this far to become pretty?

We do have to become pretty. We absolutely have to win this harsh war against pain and be reborn as handsome men and beautiful women. They say time will compensate us, so let's wait just a little longer. If someone told me to do it again right now, I would say absolutely not, I'm giving up on this life.

But!

I will end this post while waiting for the day I can post a review of my prettier self later. Pfft!

Everyone, you've endured well, and now all that's left is to wait for the day you become prettier. So even if it's hard and painful right now, let's secretly give one big bright smile.
