Four years ago, I had long-curve resection and a chin implant procedure at ㄱㄹ Plastic Surgery near Gangnam Station. I was satisfied with the shape after surgery, but whether it is a foreign-body reaction to the implant, the pimples that have been constantly appearing on my chin, big and small, for 4 years have become stressful. My skin is generally on the clear side, but only on my chin, especially, large boil-like bumps appear, then small closed-comedone-like acne appears repeatedly. I went for a follow-up consultation today, and they said the clinic needs a little more time to find my chart. Even though I called and made the appointment 5 days ago before going. I went for follow-up today, but I had the consultation without knowing how many mm the implant placed at that time was or what material it was made of. It seems the patient charts are not being managed well, so I’m worried whether it’s okay to proceed with another additional surgery here.
Even though I had surgery at this clinic, they say the implant removal fee is separately 1 million won. At many other clinics, if you had surgery at that clinic, implant removal is done free of charge. They say even if removal is due to inflammation, implant removal costs 1 million won, so please keep that in mind.
