4-Week Review After Cheekbone Surgery [Realization]

Honestly, as I wrote in my 3-week review, there is no difference from an ordinary person when it comes to eating or daily life.

The only difference is that swelling is still present...

At 4 weeks after surgery, I finally came to a realization.

The idea that swelling goes down and you become pretty (or handsome) in just one month is complete nonsense. [At least by my standards]

My face right now looks exactly like I gained about 10-15 kg compared to before surgery. My weight is the same as before surgery. It feels like the swelling from week 2 is just continuing as is.

I used to have some pride in my jawline, and although my jawline has come back, the cheek fat (cheek swelling) really is not going down. It does not feel like a plateau, but more like it has stopped...

Wherever I go, people say, “You gained so much weight.” Even friends who are not my absolute closest but are still pretty close say, “Your body looks the same, so why did only your face gain weight?”

Even at this point, I can still feel swelling inside my mouth, in both cheeks, and around the cheekbones.

The side-effect issues have improved by about 80%. Sensation is coming back now too. Intermittent pain or abnormal sensation has decreased to the point where I can say there is almost none. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Review from days 14-21 after cheekbone surgery [intermediate swelling] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5-week review after cheekbone surgery [swelling concerns, soju, radiofrequency]
