My eyes now >> 2 years ago I had incisional double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty I personally don’t like extremely thin lines, and my eyes wouldn’t suit an outfold, so I said I wanted a visible in-out line from the inner corner to the outer end of the eye The line they held during the consultation was also in-out I also had epicanthoplasty because of my Mongolian folds After surgery, the inner corners of my eyes were way too sharply pointed They said it only looked pulled because it was early, that it would be fine with time, and that the inner corner line was not in-out but an outfold, but that this would also come down with time It didn’t come down and didn’t return At first, I naturally thought it was swelling and waited Even when people around me asked if it still hadn’t gone down, I thought since it was incisional, that could happen, and I was super relaxed by myself But after 6 months it was still the same, and from then on my mental state got really badㄷㄷ Overcorrected epicanthoplasty + outfold line can’t be covered with makeup, and even when I just look at myself in the mirror, the words “why are you opening your eyes like that?” come out on their own Epicanthoplasty restoration is one thing, but lowering the inner-corner line seems like it can look pinched if done wrong, so I searched like crazy and went for a consultation at one clinic, you know? They checked how the line formed when I closed and opened my eyes, the previous incision location, and things like that, and checked the inner corners several times too Since it’s already been over 2 years since the surgery, the opened inner corners have already settled too firmly, and the lacrimal caruncle area looks a bit pointed, so they explained that during reconstruction they would reconstruct the back side inside the eye...? (they explained it, but I don’t remember) and reposition and secure the ligament and muscle too For the double eyelid line, they said I could think of it as simply changing the line, and that it isn’t difficult, so I shouldn’t worry.. Maybe because the director only does eye surgery, they really did explain well? Even the structural parts? (I understood well during the consultation, but it’s hard when I try to explain it in words;) For now, I’ve put down a deposit, but are there any other hospitals that might be good to visit too...?
