I visited despite the expensive consultation fee because I saw the doctor on YouTube and thought he would examine me carefully. They said he spoke honestly and would send patients away if surgery was not appropriate, so I went for an expert consultation—but perhaps I expected too much. He did say whether he recommended or did not recommend surgery, but the consultation was too short for the fee, so I felt empty. I thought that after seeing many cases over more than 20 years, he would offer a solution for my condition, but I was disappointed. Before the consultation, a staff member told me the doctor’s consultation would be very long, but that worry was unnecessary. If you are like me and visit with high expectations after watching YouTube, think carefully so you do not feel the consultation fee was wasted.
