Someone asked me to leave a review at week 2 as well, so I brought it quickly. Today is exactly the day I reached week 2! Originally, I was supposed to visit on day 10 to check my progress, but because of work, it was difficult to visit on day 10, so I went today, at week 2.
The discomfort I feel at week 2 is swelling and the stitches inside my mouth. First of all, swelling is something that just takes time, and compared with the many reviews from other people that I looked up before surgery, I’m on the side with little swelling, so I’m not stressed about it. I think I didn’t swell much because the director performed the surgery cleanly and well, so I’m feeling endlessly gratefulㅠㅠ
As for the stitches,, actually one stitch came out on day 5ㅠㅠ I was worried the sutured wound might get irritated, but I didn’t feel any particular pain, so I didn’t contact the hospital. But when I went to the hospital today, they said it was healing cleanly and well. Since there are still a lot of stitches left, I said they were uncomfortable, and they said the stitches on both sides are at least less uncomfortable, so I should just bear with them for another day or two, and that the front stitches would probably bother me more, so they would remove those. So I had the long dangling stitches in the front removed. For reference, in the case of the hospital where I had surgery, they said they use 100% dissolvable sutures. I’m curious when they’ll all dissolve, but for now I have to wait.
And I received swelling laser treatment and had a CT scan. They said I can check the scan images at my one-month follow-upㅜㅜ I’m really curious, but I’ll wait a little longer,,
The swelling I felt was okay from day 7 onward. It’s just that I personally don’t like my face yet, but if someone seeing me for the first time looked at my face, it would be to the point where they wouldn’t notice anything very strange? It’s not to the point where anyone would think, that person definitely had plastic surgery! It’s more to the point where they’d think, that person has a double chin,,
Even now at week 2, the double chin is improving very little by little, but it’s not completely goneㅠ I originally don’t have a double chin,,, so I hope it disappears quicklyㅠ So I usually go around wearing a mask. It’s not the proper way of wearing a full mask from the middle of the nose, but more like wearing it from below the lips, as if wrapping around the double chin,, just resting it on my chin. Yesterday, I briefly met two acquaintances who don’t know I had surgery, and even after talking face-to-face for about 5 minutes, they had no idea I had surgeryㅋㅋ What a relief. Right now, I just look like myself after gaining weight, but still, from the side, the angles have disappeared a lotㅠㅠ I want the swelling to go down quickly so I can see how much my facial line has changed!
