I had double eyelid surgery with a full incision, without canthoplasty, when I was 16 in 9th grade! I was making double eyelids with double eyelid glue and tape every day, so my eyes were getting a lot of irritation, and I felt like it was affecting my studies too. After discussing it with my parents, I had the surgery. I’m the type whose swelling goes down well, so it was completely gone in about a year. Now, 5 years later, I’m 21, and no one can tell I had surgery lol. I honestly don’t really know if being young makes it more dangerous or anything like that. The doctor said the same thing too.
