I had my first rhinoplasty on November 20. I had heard that nose surgery was bearable, so I took it lightly, but maybe because I had an osteotomy, it hurt so much. As soon as I woke up from anesthesia, I felt like I was going to throw up and I was so cold that it was miserable. Because of the pain, I couldn’t even drink water, let alone eat.. I thought breathing only through my mouth would be easy, but when I woke up after sleeping, the inside of my mouth felt like it was burning, so I was scared to sleep. Maybe because my immunity dropped sharply after surgery, I kept getting chills and body aches, and for the first 3 days after surgery it was so hard that I really thought I shouldn’t have had the surgery. I started recovering little by little after the cotton inside my nose was removed. For a week, I was dripping enough nosebleeds and runny nose for a lifetime. Ah! Since I had an osteotomy, on day 2 my face was so swollen that I couldn’t open my eyes. It was swollen enough to press on my tear glands, so I couldn’t open my eyes and tears kept streamingㅠㅠㅠ I’m on day 10 now, and the facial swelling has gone down, but there’s still a lot of yellow bruising leftㅎ I think I need to keep watching the nose swelling~~)) Everyone planning nose surgery!! The pain from nose surgery really depends on the person. I sincerely hope you won’t be in pain like I was. For all of us to have pretty noses without complications♡♡
