Eye Surgery Reviews

Eye correction and under-eye fat repositioning changed my impression a lot

Before surgery, my eyes looked weak and my under-eye area also looked a bit shadowed, so I was worried that I generally looked tired. At first I naturally thought I would have to get double eyelid surgery for my eyes to change, but after the consultation I found out that wasn't necessarily the case. The surgeon also looked at my eyes and said I probably didn't need double eyelids, and recommended improving my eye-opening strength with eye correction and tidying up the under-eye area with under-eye fat repositioning. At first I wondered if I'd be okay without double eyelid surgery, but seeing the results now, I think this combination suited me better. Right after surgery I had swelling and the area around my eyes felt a little awkward, but as time passed it gradually became more natural. In particular, once the under-eye area became clean, my face looked brighter than before and my eyes looked much clearer when open. I didn't even have a separate canthoplasty, but because eye correction improved the strength of opening my eyes, my eyes looked bigger than before too. People used to often say I looked tired, but these days I almost never hear that, so that part makes me happiest haha. My under-eye area is also cleaner than before, so I no longer need to cover it as much with concealer when I do my makeup. Just changing one thing about my eyes had a bigger effect on my overall impression than I expected. Rather than looking dramatically different, I changed in a way that made my eyes clearer and my whole face look more lively, so the more time passes, the more I like it. At first I wondered if I should get double eyelids too, but now I think not making double eyelids was actually the better choice. Getting consulted and operated on at Dress Plastic Surgery focusing on what my eyes specifically needed ended up being satisfying overall.
