Eye Surgery Considerations

A named community review

I had a consultation at the end of last year, but the schedule didn't match and I was too torn about which hospital to choose, so I didn't go ahead. The doctor explained everything in great detail and kindly answered each and every question. It really felt like he enjoyed the work rather than finding it bothersome. I had just been to an ENT clinic before that, and the consultation there was so bad and unfriendly that it probably made me feel this way even more. The manager did answer everything I asked, but I didn't really feel that she was especially kind. The more I watched the YouTube videos, the more trust I felt, but I was worried because there weren't any reviews. I think they could match the straight-line style and the aesthetics I want. A septal extension and ear cartilage would be possible, but they recommended autologous costal cartilage, and since this is my first surgery, autologous costal cartilage feels like a lot of pressure. But because my septal deviation is severe, I'm considering autologous costal cartilage with the firm resolve to make this my first and last surgery.
