My eyes were naturally on the small side, and I also lacked the strength to open them properly, so my whole face looked rather flat. No matter how much makeup I put on, it was hard to dramatically change the eyes themselves, so I started thinking about double eyelid surgery! My aesthetic goal is a clear eye shape, so I researched hospitals that are good at this kind of eye shape very thoroughly and went to several consultations!!
But I did not think very flashy eyes would suit me, so rather than a thick line, I wanted a natural inner-out line that suited my own eyes~ The consultation with Director Hwang was the best. When I told him the look I wanted, he explained everything well in the direction I wanted! He said that instead of forcing a thick line on my current eyes, he could make an inner-out line that fit my image, and if we also did non-incisional eye correction for the weak eye-opening strength, it could come out with the natural image I wanted!
I also liked that the director did not recommend a fixed style, but kept asking what kind of feeling I wanted and then adjusted the line accordingly~~~ While looking in the mirror, we checked step by step whether the height was good or whether lowering it a little would be better, and that helped me understand much more precisely what I wanted myself haha. At other places, even after hearing the explanation, there were still some unclear points, but here, after the consultation ended, I could picture in my head how the surgery would be done. I think they really understood the naturalness I cared about, so I had the surgery here!
Right after surgery there was swelling and my eyes felt a bit awkward, so I wondered when they would become natural, but after some time the line gradually began to settle!! Now the double eyelid line is much more natural than at first, and opening my eyes feels easier too haha. Before, even when my eyes were open, they somehow looked weak, and in photos my eye shape often came out blurry, but now my pupils look clearer than before and the overall eye shape feels sharper~~ It did not become too thick or flashy, so it seems to have turned out naturally clear just as I wanted, and I like my eyes the most now haha.
