I didn’t want that. I thought wide canthoplasty and a very alluring, dramatic line wouldn’t suit me either, so when I went around for consultations, I mainly visited clinics that aimed for the most natural results. After having a few eye consultations, something I personally learned was that some places just create a double eyelid for cosmetic purposes and stop there, but I also learned that uncomfortable eye-opening habits I usually had, and cases where the eyelashes poke the eyes a lot, can also be improved through eye surgery at a plastic surgery clinic. Hmm.... I don’t know if this applies to every clinic, but at least the place where I had surgery was able to do it. It wasn’t something that could be solved with double-eyelid surgery alone; entropion correction!! had to be done together. And even if entropion correction is done together, if they don’t set the line in a way I like, I still wouldn’t be satisfied, so I also had to pay close attention to whether the director’s taste matched mine. What made the consultation easier to understand was that there was a chart? organized by line type, so it was easy to explain to the director what kind of eyes I wanted. (For anyone here who might go to the same clinic as me, just for reference.. I said I wanted numbers 2 and 3!) The director recommended the surgical method. Looking at the reviews here, they seemed to do incisional methods naturally too, but they said my eyes didn’t need incision and that the buried-suture method would be enough! It didn’t seem like they recommend incision to everyone no matter what. Honestly, the aftercare and revision period were both generous, which was nice, but more than anything, I liked the consultation with the director the most, so I decided to have surgery there. While recovering after surgery, I waited so much for the swelling to go down quickly (so I kept taking photos every week lol) Now that a month has passed, I’m relaxed and just living naturally~ I had entropion correction and ptosis correction together, and at this level, the fixation depth isn’t deep, and I think it turned out naturally well, so I feel like I did pretty well for my first surgery. More than anything, the eyelashes no longer poke my eyes, so I’m really, really happy.. My eyeliner used to smudge every day because of this lol I think my satisfaction in daily life has gotten even higher.
