I had nose surgery without implants 1 year ago. My nose being low had always been a complex, but I was worried about side effects from putting in silicone, so after the consultation I only had the tip done with septal cartilage. For the first month, the tip clearly had more presence and there was definitely a change, but after about 2 months it almost returned to how it was before.. Even in real life there’s no difference, and in photos it looks the same too. The doctor did say after surgery that he wasn’t able to lift it much, but I didn’t expect there to be this little change. I’m now looking into revision surgery and getting consultations, and they say the tip has shifted slightly to the left. (Even in photos, the tip looks slightly tilted; it’s not noticeable when looking directly.) Before surgery, the tip was straight, but after surgery it shifted a little to the side.. I regret not researching more carefully before doing it.
