Nose Surgery Reviews

Cocoline consultation review

I had my first nose surgery in 2016. Because I had a hump nose and a hooked nose, they used the septum to build support, shaved down the hump, and placed a thin layer of silicone. From the beginning, it was designed with a very pointed tip so it would look obvious. I was unhappy with the shape, but I kept living by thinking that it was still prettier than before surgery. But the doctor's attitude before and after surgery was very different. Before surgery, he was extremely kind, but after surgery he treated me as if he were ignoring me? At my one-month follow-up, I dropped my phone on my nose and asked if it was okay, and he pressed my nose very!! really very hard with his thumb and said, "Haha, even this won't make it bend~" When I said, what are you doing!, he said that if the surgery went well, even pressing that hard would not bend it. The problem is, starting around year 2 to 3, I felt the tip of my nose was lifting. So when I went to the hospital, they sent me back saying that after nose surgery you only look at your own nose, so things you could not see before start to stand out, and that it looked no different at all in photos. At my 6-year follow-up, I went back because I thought it clearly looked lifted no matter how I saw it, and we checked together in photos how the nose had gradually lifted from 6 months after surgery to years 2-3 and then year 6, haha. Both the doctor and the coordinator acknowledged it. And now it has kept lifting and lifting until the cartilage visibility has become very severe. (After going around for revision consultations, it was not contracture.) Looking at recent reviews, it seems they still design some people's noses very pointedly.. I keep worrying that those people might also get side effects like mine 6 or 7 years later.

Oh right, the forehead fat grafting is all gone! ^_^
