They said it was a very easy surgery during the consultation... but the result they gave me was the complete opposite of what was discussed. First, there are severe sewing-machine-like scars left under my eyes, and even now, 1.5 years later, the double eyelids still have severe incision marks like someone who had surgery yesterday. And the line is asymmetrical, like it was drawn with eyes closed. More than anything, when I wash my face or shower, the double-eyelid line stings, so I can’t open my eyes at all until it’s over. When I complained to the doctor about the discomfort, he said, “How interesting lol.” He also said this line is the best it can be and there was nothing he could do.
This is my mother’s eye, and I had nasal surgery, and of course he said all the nose shapes I wanted were possible. He “reused” the silicone, and without listening to a single thing I asked for, he did a very high and sharp nose in a so-called “Gangnam style,” so this time I’m getting revision surgery. All the doctors at the hospitals where I consulted for revision were shocked when they saw my nose and said things like, “Why did you make the tip look like a cartoon?”, “You need to improve this witch-like pointed nose...”, “The implant will pierce through the nose soon,” and “What kind of Gangnam style is this? No one does it like this these days.” Several vertical scars also formed below the incision site.
The operating room was right next to the bathroom, so it was a bit inconvenient. Several surgery rooms were lined up in the hallway, and because the doors were open, everything inside was visible. Loud music was playing in the operating room, and the nurses were also loudly chatting while preparing for surgery. I was nervous before the operation, but they handled everything roughly without even saying things like, “We’ll secure your leg~” or “We’ll remove your nose hair~,” so it hurt a bit.
