Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

Jamie review from a community

Only one eye had a sunken eyelid + multiple creases, so I visited thinking lightly about quick buried-suture double eyelid surgery... but they said my eyes absolutely needed incisional surgery on both eyes. They said if I did buried-suture, it would come undone within a year at most, and even with incision, my eyes were the type where it could come undone haha. When I didn't insist that I wanted buried-suture and listened carefully to the doctor, they liked that. They said people who refuse and say it absolutely has to be buried-suture are difficult... They told me that if I go to another clinic and they say buried-suture is possible, I should definitely ask about the AS period, and they would probably say 6 months to 1 year. (But later, when I went to another clinic that said buried-suture was possible, it really was true..) The consultation manager was very bright and kind. It wasn't exactly coercive, but they did recommend scheduling a date. (Other clinics didn't even do this much, though) It was the first place I visited without even basic knowledge of double eyelid surgery, so I was flustered, and in the end I didn't book surgery. Still, rather than immediate quick recovery and naturalness, it became a chance for me to think about what surgery would truly be necessary from the structural perspective of my eyes. For reference, they said here that my ptosis was very severe, but all the other clinics said I didn't have ptosis. It does seem like they tended to speak a bit more strongly. It's been a long time since I visited, so I don't remember the exact estimate, but I think they roughly quoted somewhere in the late 2 million won range.
