My arms have seriously been a lifelong stressor for me.. I don’t want to make them bone-thin arms, I just really want to get rid of the round lineㅠㅠ A few months ago, I saw ㄷㅌㅋㄹㅁ on the ㅂㅂㅌ app and made a reservation, but after reading reviews here, I gave up and lost the 200,000 won deposit People I know also said I did the right thing, so I haven’t regretted it so far, and I went to two places that both have “Line” in the clinic name If there’s anyone here worrying about their arms like me, I thought it might help, so even though it’s not organized at all, I’m leaving a long post This is the kind of review I neededㅠㅠ But I didn’t really have a list of questions, so please understand that the consultation review is a bit messy...(mostly about how I felt)
ㄷㄹㅇ - The building was very clean and felt newly built - It wasn’t like being on a few floors of a plastic surgery building; the whole tower was theirs, so it felt luxurious - Not paper cups, but mugs.. small luxurious details like that - The front desk, consultant, person taking photos, and person drawing blood all felt systematic - Director ㅈㅈㅎ is famous, but when I actually went, the price was way too expensive, almost double - The consultation order was consultant > doctor > consultant - No InBody scan. They just weighed me before the consultation - Because of my budget, I was seen by the doctor with the least experience, but his face gave a kind impression - I said I was worried about dents, and he reassured me that those happen when both the patient and doctor are too greedy - They said they make one incision on each side, two total (this was the biggest merit) - The consultant seemed to have pretty strong energy (much more than ㅁㄷㄹㅇ in Bundang) - I was thinking of a budget under 2 million won, but it went over 2 million, so when I said I had thought of 2 million, they matched it to 2 million (but I had to provide photos to the clinicㅠ) - After the consultation, thinking back on it, I got the feeling they probably would have matched it even if I said my budget was 1.8 million.. - I asked if it could be a bit cheaper at the time, but they said no
Bundang ㅁㄷㄹㅇ - Location-wise, it’s not in Seoul, so it was far, and the building was old - It’s located on one floor, and there’s a library on another floor, plus other clinics, restaurants, and all sorts of things - When I first walked in, maybe because I had already been to ㄷㄹㅇ, it felt like a neighborhood dermatology clinic, so I was shocked (Still, I heard ㅁㄷㄹㅇ is famous for making bone-thin arms and does well, so I didn’t care about the exterior) - But the operating room was open, so I could see the hallway, and inside I could hear nurses or staff chatting and playing around - I met the doctor first before meeting the consultant. Order was InBody > doctor > consultant - But even though the atmosphere felt like a neighborhood dermatology clinic, while I was waiting, the doctor was walking around here and there in his medical coat - I met the doctor, and he put on a rough-looking PPT and explained what liposuction is and how recovery works (it didn’t really help with my decision) - He seemed much more confident than the ㄷㄹㅇ doctor and said it looked like the fat would come out very well and that he would make my arms slim - The consultant had a separate room, so we moved there, and compared with consultants nationwide, she was extremely gentle - No pressure to reserve, just explanations, and the vibe was like, we get plenty of patients anyway, so we’re not desperate - The problem is they said they make three incisions on each side, six total (this stood out a bit in comparison) - I didn’t mention my budget, but they said 2 million won, so I was surprised it was the same as ㄷㄹㅇ
Conclusion I haven’t seen reviews saying someone did it at ㄷㄹㅇ and got bone-thin arms, and since many people I know had this done, I asked around, and most people see this place as a safer choice On the other hand, ㅁㄷㄹㅇ is definitely for bone-thin arms and has good reviews here, but I have one acquaintance who said the inner side became lumpy The biggest things for me were the atmosphere and the number of incisions... ㄷㄹㅇ was more luxurious than ㅁㄷㄹㅇ and had four fewer incisions The price was the same at 2 million won for everything (entire arms + accessory breast tissue + posterior accessory breast tissue + the root area where the arms start), so keep that in mind!!
