When other clinics only talked about ear cartilage and septal cartilage, Dr. Hwi did not recommend using septal cartilage and recommended autologous costal cartilage. I was a bit surprised by this part, but they said that to proceed the way I wanted, autologous costal cartilage was somewhat more recommended. They said it didn’t matter which cartilage was used, and kept emphasizing that the surgical method is what matters..! I was very drawn to them because they seemed like a director who tries to worry about and care for the patient as much as possible, and who tries to accommodate the patient’s needs. I think if your own needs are clear and definite, they will be better reflected. Even if you don’t necessarily have surgery here, I recommend going for a consultation, and I definitely recommend reading Dr. Hwi’s blog.
