When I first went there, the staff were kind, so I felt good. But when I was consulting with the director, the staff came in with us and stood behind him watching, which felt very burdensome. And the director didn't understand the point of the questions I kept asking, and got a little irritated while repeating the same answer, which was frustrating for me too. I also felt awkward in front of the staff who had come in with us. After an entirely unsatisfying consultation, I was talking with the head manager, and it felt like they were lightly patting my shoulder as if to comfort me. Of course, maybe that was just my impression. I had only gone for a consultation because of revision surgery, and I went in having already been hurt by a failed surgery before, but I feel like I came out even more hurt. It's upsetting.
