If you ever think about getting canthoplasty done here, I would grab you by the pant leg if I had to and drag you away, that’s how badly I’d want to stop you. A decade ago I fell for marketing saying a celebrity had it done here, and because I moved my body during anesthesia, they kept me lying in the operating room for 8 hours. It makes my teeth grind ^^. The front canthoplasty left a D-shaped scar, the back canthoplasty left a D shape too, and the skin at the outer corner of my eye turned slightly inward, so the red mucous membrane is always visible. The front canthoplasty scar is double-layered too lol. For 10 years I’ve lived suffering from dry eye and from hearing that it looks unnatural. And I guess they left a thread tied behind my eye, because sometimes it pulls, and it hurts when it gets pressed by my pillow. I’m looking into reconstruction for the front and back canthoplasty, but it’s really hard to find a clinic that does reversal/reconstruction well. The double eyelid line leaves less scarring when my eyes are closed, but the shape is just so-so. I didn’t have the sagging skin at the front removed, so my eyes ended up looking a little fierce, narrow in the front and wider toward the back. Don’t go through the same suffering and pay money only to get side effects like I did. Look somewhere else.
