I had cheekbone reduction 6 years ago and it hardly had any effect. I recommend surgery only for people with a narrow facial skeleton, little facial fat, and cheekbones that are the only prominent feature. I lived regretting my contouring surgery.. I only suffered, and even I couldn’t really tell if it had an effect. As for the side effect of feeling like my teeth were falling out, I just lived with it, but after removing the pins, that symptom disappeared. I’m so glad I had the pins removed. That said, the young director who performed the surgery 6 years ago moved elsewhere, and I had the pins removed by another director, but he really hated consultations.. it felt like he desperately wanted to run away because he hated answering questions. The staff were moderately kind.
