This is a nose revision surgery. My nose was asymmetrical to begin with, and I didn’t like the nose surgery I had 6 years ago, so I decided on a revision surgery and got a consultation through a referral from someone I knew.
The doctor in charge came in for a moment, glanced at my nose as if it were a hassle, and seemed about to leave after saying only a few words, so I stopped him and asked questions. Only then did he respond briefly a few times and leave. Personally, I had seen a few acquaintances who had good nose surgeries at this clinic, and that’s why I ended up deciding on surgery so impulsively, which was a mistake.
The asymmetry of my original nose was not corrected, and in fact the asymmetry of the tip, which became higher through the revision surgery, got even worse. It stood out more in photos, so I thought it was actually worse than before and requested a follow-up.
As soon as the doctor came into the consultation room, he scolded me, saying, ‘It was an originally crooked nose, it won’t get fixed even if you do it again, and since revision surgery requires rib cartilage, it only increases the chance of inflammation,’ and whenever I asked something he got annoyed and answered, ‘I told you it won’t work, didn’t I?’ Then when my expression stiffened, he just walked out.
From the beginning, even during the pre-op consultation, there was no conversation at all about the things I was curious about or what needed to be agreed on, and the result was completely unsatisfactory. I’m furious at the attitude of trying to make money by doing a surgery that changes someone’s face while consulting like that. The manager who was consulting me also tried to wrap it up by saying that the doctor’s personality is just like that, that other patients complain too, so please understand a little, and that my nose isn’t as crooked as I think and you just can’t tell unless you take photos, and that it’s fine as long as you don’t take photos from below. But could you say that if it were your own face? Why should I pay money and even have to understand the personality of Dr. Park, who did the surgery in that manner?
Even though the surgery turned out like this, if they had not treated me that way during the consultation, I wouldn’t have left a review like this. But I’m so angry at the irresponsibility of their attitude while making money from surgeries that change people’s faces, so I’m writing this review. Don’t run your clinic like this.
