I posted its reputation before, but it seems to have been deleted, so I’m writing again with added information (Currently day 3 after surgery / I’m planning to monitor the progress and write a surgery review too)
First of all, when I initially researched online, this was the place where the most “friends of acquaintances” around me had gone. When my acquaintances saw people they knew who had surgery there, they were all satisfied and the results were good, so I was considering it. It happened to be right near the academy I attend, so I booked a consultation and visited with a friend.
When I was researching online, people said the representative director ㅊㄷㅅ was the best at noses, so I requested a consultation with that director specifically. On the first-visit form asking how I found the clinic, I think I wrote down this community and Yeowooya. The director was in surgery, so I was told there would be a wait. I took photos and waited, then went in for the consultation. The person guiding me came in together and took notes about the consultation on a tablet.
First, it was my first cosmetic surgery consultation ever, and I’m introverted, so I did bring celebrity photos and things like that, but I don’t think I was able to speak well Before the consultation, the director looked at the photos that had been taken and touched my nose, then asked what line I wanted. He used a cotton swab to show the line, and explained everything: that my nasal skin is a bit firm, I have a bulbous nose, and I have a really subtle hump that barely shows. He also explained what materials would be good to use and whether surgery was possible.
Until then, I couldn’t say which celebrity nose I wanted, but the friend who came with me asked on my behalf, asking if Karina’s nose was possible It’s not the case now, but at the time the noses I had been looking at were Karina and Shin Se-kyung. Anyway, because my friend asked for me, he explained that to raise it as much as Karina’s, the skin needs to be thin for it to lift well, but my skin isn’t like that and is firm, so it wouldn’t come out as Karina’s nose. He said it could be raised to some extent, and explained all those parts. He also told me everything about the asymmetry of my nostrils and what was realistically possible and difficult with surgery. It seemed like he preferred a more natural result (same as me).
In other reviews, I saw people say that this clinic seems to do rather glamorous noses, but when I researched online, I had heard that Director ㅊㄷㅅ does natural or naturally glamorous noses well, and if requested, can also do a glamorous style. I definitely like a naturally glamorous look, so during the consultation, he didn’t push an overly glamorous style or recommend costal cartilage materials from the start, which actually felt good.
The consultation ended within about 10 minutes? Then I talked again with the consultant. When I was researching online, I had seen posts saying that the consultants here had also had surgery by the director. While being guided by the consultant, I thought it looked like she had also had rhinoplasty, so I carefully asked. But it was true: the consultant who consulted me said she had also had her nose done by the director. She said before joining the company, when she came as a patient, she insisted from the start on using autologous costal cartilage and making it absolutely glamorous, then regretted it. After joining the company, she consulted with the director and got revision surgery. She even showed me the autologous costal cartilage scar. For the revision, she used ear cartilage and silicone on the bridge, and she said ear cartilage is firm too and let me touch her nose.. Some people might think that’s burdensome, but for me, during the director’s consultation I got so nervous because it felt so serious that I think I stumbled through it and came out. The consultant was not overly casual, and appropriately shared her experience while explaining things, so I felt like I received a more proper consultation. I seriously think it was good that I carefully asked whether the consultant had done her nose.
What was disappointing is that there doesn’t seem to be CT imaging or in-house custom silicone fabrication. But actually, more clinics don’t have those than do. It may also be because it’s in a regional area. For a regional area, it is considered a large hospital (it was my first consultation hospital, so I thought all plastic surgery clinics were big).
Still, I regret not asking questions properly during the consultation with the director. My friend asked some questions for me, so I got some help, but still.
The first consultation has no consultation fee, but when I asked later, they charge 10,000 won for a repeat consultation So I just thought about it and booked the surgery without going for another consultation.. (So during the pre-surgery design session, I intensely talked about what I wanted. I didn’t change the materials, yes. Since bulbous nose correction was my biggest concern, I only pleaded for them to make the nasal ala as slim as possible And during the design consultation, they explained things better while looking at the most recent photos, so I was able to understand my nose shape in more detail, and I felt that there were some aspects of the result I wouldn’t end up holding as complaints.)
Oh, for reference, after booking the surgery, I searched and saw that Gangnam Unni and Babitalk had rhinoplasty events, so I asked the hospital whether that price could be applied to me too. But then they said the director had said during consultation that because my hump was completely subtle, he would do the hump as a service, but if that price was applied, the service would not apply. Instead of the app event, they applied a review event (the 3 places where I posted) and informed me it could be discounted from the 3.4 million won range to 3.1 million won. The price will probably vary depending on each person’s individual estimate.
+After booking the surgery, I asked about CCTV. They said CCTV recording is mandatory, so they do record it. But they can only store it on a security channel(?) and can’t store everyone’s footage, so it seems you have to tell them in advance before surgery for them to separately store it securely so it can be viewed for 1 month. I was told the viewing fee is 100,000 won. I hadn’t even thought there would be a fee, so I looked it up and many Seoul hospitals charge more than 200,000 wonㅡㅡ; Should I think of it as 100,000 won because it’s a regional area Anyway, after hearing this I suddenly felt very uneasy, but I think I heard that even if you have surgery without requesting viewing, it is stored for 7 days and then deleted. (I guess I should ask whether, if you request viewing within one week after surgery, you can pay and view it. I didn’t ask, just left it.)
When I entered the operating room, there were notices inside saying CCTV was recording. But before surgery, I had already asked everything I wanted to ask to someone from this community who had done their nose here, so I just didn’t request viewing.
Anyway, I’ll write the surgery review later after monitoring the progress more, and this is the end of my in-person consultation review.
