Before <before surgery> Before <before surgery> Before <before surgery> After <Day 1, came home the day after surgery..> After <Day 3, when swelling was the worst> After <1 week, still some angularity left> After <2 weeks> After <timeline summary> After <current appearance at 1 month, swelling remains> After <also at 1 month> It’s already been 1 month since I had 3-part facial contouring Still, I feel relieved on one hand because I think I resolved a long-standing complex
Since I was young, my jaw was angular, so I had no confidence in my appearance I was somehow scared of taking photos too, and as I got older I realized how important appearance is, so after being discharged from the military I just did it I thought about it for a month or two, but once I had the thought, it didn’t really change Everyone probably has all kinds of reasons, but I think this is the most common one
I had facial contouring at Soda Plastic Surgery As someone getting plastic surgery for the first time, I thought a place that mainly does facial contouring would be pretty good I also went to about 3 places for consultations. There was a feeling that they forced a meeting after afternoon surgery a bit, but at the two places I visited, they looked too tired Maybe because they were exhausted, the consultations felt kind of perfunctory The explanations also strongly felt like, “Even if I explain in detail, you probably won’t understand,” so it put me off. Still, I’m paying money and using a service ;;
But at Soda, when I met the director, it was also in the afternoon and he had likewise just come from surgery, but his tone and explanation were so different. Maybe because his voice was good to begin with It was just the first consultation, but he explained not only the photos but even the method in detail The manager also consulted well and was kind. Of course, it’s not that only this place is kind, but from what I felt, everyone was so kind that it actually seemed impressive When I looked it up later, I guess people generally feel similarly This hospital seems to have one director doing both surgery and consultations, so keep that in mind when going around for consultations
Anyway, the important thing is how much it changed after surgery, the return relative to the investment cost, and cost doesn’t include only money
Right after surgery, I became this puffy I couldn’t even drink water and it felt like enduring pain You know how when you have a fever, you curl up and endure it hard I endured exactly like that
The swelling went down like this by day For care, all I did was cold compresses according to the number of days But if you do cold compresses, it hurts less, so you’ll definitely end up doing them
For meals, I bought and drank soy milk, and if porridge has grains in it, it’s uncomfortable, so keep that in mind I ate at least a liquid diet I think eating protein is important too. I bought convenience-store protein drinks Honestly, people don’t die from eating a bit less or not eating much And maintaining a bit of a calorie deficit can be good rather than bad
Now it’s like this. There is still some swelling around the jaw, and my jaw feels tight when I yawn
I was really nervous during surgery, but the operating room had a clean, solid-color feel, so it felt like a laboratory. There wasn’t clutter either, and aside from LASIK, it was my first surgery,, But since you pass out in 3 seconds, everyone probably doesn’t need to think too much about it In the private room, the TV rotates to match the hospital bed, and since the monitor is big, it was nice. It was a bit hard to watch because I was in pain, but I wanted to steal one. It’s a super, super, super upgraded version of a phone holder for the bed Because I live in Busan, I got one massage when I had stitches removed for aftercare I couldn’t get the rest because I was at my parents’ home After getting a massage and a cooling pack, my jaw becomes completely flexible for about 3 hours If you live nearby, you can get it often for free. I live in Busan, so I was seriously pissed It’s now been a little over a month, and they said it will change more, so I plan to keep observing the progress a bit more. You can ask questions, but since the only sample is me and this is a very personal opinion, filter it directly for yourself
