From the consultation to the surgery and even the aftercare, there was never a time when the surgeon wasn’t involved. That made me feel even better about it, I guess. My philtrum was seriously long, so I wanted it shortened and went ahead with internal reduction, and it seems to have turned out pretty satisfactorily. I had a hard time finding reviews of philtrum reduction, but I heard that many general plastic surgery clinics don’t do it. The only surgery experience I had before this was double eyelid surgery, and I’m so glad this first philtrum surgery went well.. The surgeon’s skill seems good at this level, and I currently have no side effects like my lips not closing properly or feeling unnatural when I smile. If I keep going for follow-ups and applying ointment well, it seems like I’ll heal quickly.
