It has been 8 months since surgery. They say my honest review on another app was deleted? (I posted a complaint about this part)
So I came to this community. The cost was a little over 1.6 million won, and in the early period after surgery, I saw one double-chin review, trusted it, and got the surgery. There is absolutely no effect. The swelling was truly enormous, and it hurt so much. I went through so much hardship, and the result was not good at all.
At 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months, I complained to the hospital that there was no effect. In the end, now at 8 months, I am scheduled to get revision surgery tomorrow.
Since I, someone who had trouble with the hospital, am getting revision surgery, I’m really curious what will happen to me tomorrow.
First, for 6 months I suffered so much stress because of the swelling, and because the swelling was much worse than expected, I quit my job for 2 months after surgery. But I swear to heaven, there is nowhere I saw an effect, and when I touch my face, it actually feels bigger than before. The consultant says that is subjective and just the patient’s thought. I wonder whether the reason they don’t do CT scans or things like that is to shift responsibility. Not doing them also feels unprofessional, and I wonder why they try to silence people who did not see an effect by using the word “subjective.” If they don’t use objective equipment, then to put it another way, the liposuction surgery done here itself is subjective, so why do they deliberately avoid things that can objectively prove it and shift responsibility to the patient? I’ll say this clearly.
I had a refund consultation with the consultant, and unless it is confirmed by a hospital diagnosis to the point that the facial inflammatory reaction caused skin to fall off, rot, and need amputation, they say they absolutely will not treat it as a side effect. That means that even if the effect is 0%, unless it is a situation where an objective diagnosis can be made based on the nature of the inflammatory or bacterial reaction, all externally unsatisfactory situations such as cheek hollowing, severe facial asymmetry, no facial fat reduction effect, only swelling, the face becoming bigger, etc. are all dismissed as subjective, so the hospital’s responsibility is “none.”
No refund is possible. I think it is only natural that I receive accountability beyond a refund. But they won’t even refund me. In other words, they don’t feel sorry. I lost time, money, and the period itself, went through only useless pain, and for 8 months I was mentally stressed and saw no effect, but the hospital just blames the patient, only saying it is a subjective thought.
I have the recording, and I think I need to consider various measures against the hospital.
